TOPIC: Where did the daily reading go? Says, "nil"

Where did the daily reading go? Says, "nil" 2 years ago #946

Hello. When I read my bible in the evening I like to read along with the audio. Helps me better understand things. But as of the last few days when I go into it and click on read all i see is "nill" When i click on it, it always shows the verses it is going to read for the day. I have it on my iPhone and tried to uninstall in on my phone and re install it. So I am assuming it is a server problem? I hope this problem gets fixed soon. Anyone else going through this?

Hi Jim,

Just like you, I enjoy reading along with audio, since it helps bring a different perspective on scripture other than my own reading voice. Could you be a little more specific about you audio source? I myself subscribe to the Daily Audio Bible thru iTunes as well as listen to it thru my iPhone on Stitcher (an iPhone app). There is also a Daily Audio Bible iPhone app called DAB which I sometime use, but requires a wifi connection when listening, so it mainly is for home listening. These have all been working for me.

If you could provide a little more information, likely someone here has the same setup/situation as you. I hope that your technical issue gets resolved soon.

Best wishes,

Hi Lance,

I have the iphone app it's called, One Year Audio Bible NLT. It is narrated by Tom Dooley. It cost me 20 bucks through the app store. I really love this bible app. The icon on my phone is red and says NLT for the icon. I have had no problem with this app since I bought it back October. The last few nights it has not allowed me to view the scripture while listening. I think it does use Wifi but I have other bible apps I use outside the home. it looks like it comes from Biblegateway.com

sorry for the delayed response, but just in case it happens again or for others.

we are not associated with the one year audio bible or the iphone app so you would need to contact them regarding any problem. they do utilize biblegateway.com for the text. you can follow this link for more details on the iphone app.
