FYI, I am able to view both pages 1 and 2 on the "Eternal Sin" discussion as long as I am NOT signed in. Once I sign in, I can only view about three of the orignial posts and on my screen I am not given the option of clicking on page two or on "next". This morning, I viewed the replys... then had to sign in to "blindly" reply to the thread even though I could not see the last post.

I shifted to "THREAD MODE" and got myself even more confused with all the little "- - -" s pointing here and there. Crazy man! I tried to find my place in that mode, in order to post in the correct sequence, then just gave up. [Up till now I've never blogged anywhere. Still trying to figure this stuff out.]

Also, how about upping the response time, once again, that we are allowed to sit on composing a reply? I know I'm slow, but much of the time I still need to sign out, then back in, in order to be able to post.

Yearling probably isn't reading this junk, but I found that by clicking on his/her link within the the same discussion, I drew a blank - instead of being directed to the website. The reason, I think, was because the comma was placed too close to the web address. When I just typed in the web address, I got in.

Finally, thanks for all the translation references on the Eternal Sin issue. You provided the one reference that actually hit the mark directly. Kudos.

hi fotop,

i'm so glad you were able to get your questions answered/clarified in the forum.

i took a look at the issue you describe and could not replicate it, so not sure what to tell you at this point other than try again and let me know if the behavior resurfaces.

and i went ahead and updated the length of time before a session expires to 45 minutes

blessings,
jeff

Hi Jeff,

It was easy to duplicate the same problem again. I assume it's just some quirky thing with my computer.

It could be a simliar thing with the number of minutes allowed to compose a post. I was thinking that I maybe was having so much fun that I was simply losing track of the time. Now I'm thinking that if I ever run out of time again --- 45 minutes[!] ---

Thanks for your response.

Mike

When compiling our posts, boardadmin also advised us to "preview" it once in while and that will start the timing all over again. I think. If I remember correctly.

However. I still am not able to understand how to use the boardcodes.
