I'm more likely to read there, than to pick up my Bible and read it.
Hi, Welcome aboard.  The one year bible read has been great! As often as I have been in the Word, I can't believe how much I've missed. My spouse and I get up early every morning and read together. What a wonderful start for the day. We like to say, "This is the day that the Lord has made!" I would encourage you though, to be sure to "pick up" the bible and read it. Pick out a subject and research it. Do you have a bible dictionary? A Strong's concordance? You need them. By "subject" I mean, lets say, start with the word 'saved' or the phrase 'born again'. What do they really mean and where in the bible are these things found? The more you r e a d the bible the more you will realize how awesome our God is. |
