Hi, just found your site and joined up. This is my 4th time through the One Year Bible. Don't always manage it every day but have found it to be a tremendous blessing.

Hi! Praise the Lord!

We (my spouse and I) have missed a couple of days reading the One Year too. But not to worry. If we have to go into a few days of 2010, oh well.

It has been very rewarding and fun. We have been getting into some great conversations and finding verses we knew were 'there' but couldn't remember where. Like, "Blessed is the nation who's God is the Lord". Now I've got it in me that the verse is in Psalms.

Hi also!

I have been reading through for many years now. I can miss longer stretches now, then decide where to start. I sometimes just jump ahead to get back on schedule, just keeping at it is the thing.

In a few weeks, I have been selected to give a talk called Discovery at a 3 day weekend in a prison. Besides teaching a few things about Bible reading and study, I get to tell them how God miraculously helped me to get started, and try to convince them how wonderful this discipline can be.

I started the the Navigators Daily Walk, went through a plain reading schedule, One Year Bibles and now using the one-year bible online. It's all good!!!

Hi there in the UK!

4x through is wonderful
It is amazing, and perhaps sad, to think of the sheer number of people (even professing Christians) that have never read the Bible through even one time!
The Bible is such a comfort and blessing. I am just about to do my daily One Year Bible reading, myself. If it weren't for the OYB, I would have a random type of daily devotional Bible reading, like I had once before.

Take care!
I hope to chat with you on the forums

Peace
