By checking on-line for a one year, read through the bible, study, I found this. Along with a desire to fast for the first three weeks of the year, I decided that to also read the entire bible would benefit my spiritual growth in life. Of course in any endeavor, even such as reading the bible, we need to be seeking God Himself and we can only pray that happens. Praise the Lord.

Speaking of fasting; I'm sure there are many other books on the subject but the one I just read is by Jentezen Franklin, simply called, "Fasting". In it he talks about the three duties of every Christian: giving, praying and fasting. And I realized that fasting was my weak cord. "A threefold cord is not quickly broken." - Solomon - Eccl. 4:12.

I'm hoping to be edified by the contacts on this site. (I would add a "happy face" now, but I don't know how.) ???

That is so terrific that you finished and that you finished together. I would love to hear your testimony about the lessons and blessing that you both received by reading the entire Bible. I think that it will encourage many here in the community.

Congrats!
