Hello everyone and Happy New Year. I look forward to talking with y'all and with God's help and your encouragement I will be able to make it this time thru the whole Bible. The last time I tried, which was last year, I made it into Leviticus before I got bogged down, fell behind and finally just gave up.

My goal is to finish reading this year and I am sure that having found this site and the encouragment that I will feel, I will be able to do it.

Have a VERY BLESSED year and may God continue to shower all of us with His blessings and love.

Welcome Fozziebear1,

You and everyone else are so welcomed here. Please interact with us here at the One Year Bible Forum so we can encourage you to hold firm to your commitment to read the entire Bible this year. What a great way to start the new decade and to really allow God to make an impact in your life. I leave you with this encoragement:

Galatians 6:9 (New International Version)
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Rejoicing In Him,

Lance Muller

Welcome to the forum!
I shanghaied my son into reading the OYB this year. He is of the video generation, so "books with paper and stuff" are more challenging.

The key to the OYB is to keep it fun! Many people ask what to do if they miss a day. It seems to work best just to read the daily reading and not worry about "catching up". If you get a chance to, great! If not, just read the one for the day and move on! The blessing from reading the daily reading is better than unnecessary guilt and trying to catch up.

Peace,
Jeff

Looking forward to your contributions here!
