Calling on the Name of the Lord:

Gen. 4:26, “ - -. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.”

Psalm 86.6, “In the day of my trouble I will call upon You. For You will answer me.”

Acts 7:59, “And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

Acts 22:16, “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”

Rom. 10:13, “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

1 Cor. 1:2, “ - - to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, - -.”

The Lord has made it so simple for us. Yet we are the ones who make it complicated.

Simply call, “Oh, Lord Jesus!”
